“Sister Wives”: Christine Brown Says Daughter Ysabel 'Wasn't Sure' If David Was Coming in to 'Take the Dad Role' from Kody

In the latest episode of Sister Wives, the television personality, 52, had all hands on deck for her move into a short-term rental in Moab, Utah. The duo recruited the help of Christine's six children with her ex-husband Kody Brown, Woolley's children, and some of her cousins to get the job done.
During the move, Christine recalled the differences between her experience moving with Kody versus with David. She also shared that she hopes her daughter is "warming up" to her new husband.
"She wasn't sure if David was going to come in and take over the dad role," Christine said. "I just think Ysabel's just warming up to David, you know? I hope so. I think so."

"It took Ysabel longer to warm up to David because she remembered a bit more of Mom and Dad," said Christine's son Paedon, 26.
Christine, who split from Brown after 26 years, married Woolley in October 2023. In an interview with PEOPLE, she shared that she will be a "monogamist," following her split with Brown.
"I want a partnership. I want a guy who actually loves me and wants to be with me intimately," she told PEOPLE in August 2022. "I will be a monogamist from here on out. Polygamy is not for me anymore."

Sister Wives star Christine Brown, David Woolley and some of her kidsIn the episode, the Sister Wives star also revealed that she started to find her independence from Kody after her daughter Ysabel, 21, had surgery.
"The safest role for me was being a mom. I had blinders on where I felt like that was the only potential that I had," she shared in the episode. "Honestly, Ysabel's surgery [is when] I realized how independent I actually could be."
"I actually didn't need Kody around at all," she continued. "Ysabel needed him, but I did not. So, I learned how to be self-reliant and I just really began to grow."
