Christine Brown and David Woolley got married in October 2023 after she left her plural marriage of 25 years to Kody Brown
When Christine Brown looks back at her marriage to Kody Brown, she feels nothing but gratitude, now that she has her happy ending with husband David Woolley.
On Sept. 9, the Sister Wives star, 52, reflected on the trials she endured in her plural marriage to the Brown family patriarch in a video montage shared to Instagram. The clips featured shots of Christine wiping tears and looking pensive before transitioning to happy photos of her wedding to David.
"Sometimes, I wish it was as simple as clicking our heels three times," she began in her caption. "If only leaving behind the hardest moments in life were that easy. But here’s what I know: Even in the toughest situations, there’s always hope."

Christine told her followers that they "have the power to create your own joyful ending" despite how "impossible" things may seem right now.
"It’s not easy, but it’s worth it. Keep believing, keep moving forward—because brighter days are waiting for you on the other side. ✨💛 #TheresHope #BrighterDaysAhead," she concluded.
After going public with their relationship in February 2023, Christine and David got married in Utah in October of that year. The wedding came in the aftermath of Christine's split from her ex-husband of 25 years, Kody. The two share six kids: daughters Apsyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, Truely and son Paedon.
In September 2023, Christine told PEOPLE that her now-husband “has more integrity than anybody I know. He built his business while he was being a single dad, so it’s everything to him.”
She continued of David, “His word is his bond, and it means everything to him.... If he says he’s going to do it, he’s going to do it.”
“He’s a phenomenal person, to the core. He’s just outstanding. Yeah, I just feel like I won a gold mine, major," she gushed. "I won the lottery with him.”
Unlike her previous relationship, Christine said that her relationship with David is "simple. It’s really simple. It’s a simple, simple life. And I didn’t know I could have a simple life with somebody.”
