Simone Holtznagel was fat-shamed by modelling agent

Aussie model Simone Holtznagel has shared a shocking revelation during an episode of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

The 24-year-old model who made her first television debut on Australia's Next Top Model, said she's been fat-shamed by a modeling agent.

Speaking to fellow campmates, comedian Fiona O'Laughlan and AFL star Josh Gibson, Simone revealed the dark side of the modelling industry and a horrifying experience she had with an agent a few years back.

"I went into a room," the model said, "and the lady asked to lift up my top."

"When I did she said, 'You look good but you have a lot of baby fat around your face, maybe you should lose some weight.'"

Much to the model's dismay, the diet advice given to Simone by the agent was to have a can of "Coca-Cola and an apple a day."

The model added, "There is a lot of pressure as a model, you know, to look a certain way all the time. Which is difficult."

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here airs tonight at 7:30pm on Channel 10.
