Simone Biles is right in the middle of her successful Gold Over America Tour, but she is still taking time to rest between shows – and she recently gave fans a sneak peek behind the scenes of what that looks like.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Biles, 27,  posted a series of snapshots of her downtime between performances, captioning the collection of photos with “Recharging in Charlotte, NC.”

In the photos, Biles is seen getting some sun in a striped bikini, toasting with cocktails along with husband Jonathan Owens, doing a little reading by the pool and capturing moments with a few friends.

During the first half of the docuseries, which dropped on Netflix on July 17, Biles was shown preparing to return to the Olympics following her abrupt departure in Tokyo.

"We are all the authors of our own journeys, and I am in a place in my life where I’m comfortable with who I am and what I’ve been through as an athlete, but most of all, as a person," Biles said in a statement ahead of the premiere of the series. "Gymnastics is what I do but it's not who I am, and I'm excited for people to see another side of me outside of competition."
