Yahoo Lifestyle Simone Biles is getting unnecessarily ripped for wearing a Packers jacket to watch husband Jonathan Owens play for the Bears
OK, I get it. I know the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers have a Midwest rivalry that's decades old.
But you have to give Simone Biles a break here. She went to root on her husband, Jonathan Owens, at the Bears' preseason game on Saturday, and she happened to wear a super-cool custom jacket with his image plastered all over it. We love when they support each other, right?
Except, the jacket was of Owens as a Packer. So there was all this silly backlash over it, as you'll see.
This is dumb. First off, she was too busy winning Olympic medals to buy a custom Owens with the Bears coat. Second, dude has been a Bear for a minute. There aren't enough photos of him in Chicago gear to make a new one.
I'm sure she'll be rocking something more Bears-themed next time and we can move on.
