Shoppers rave about 'best' headphones ever: 'Nothing compares'
The Bose QuietComfort 45s have been described as 'the best headphones ever'.
Ask anyone about noise-cancelling headphones, and they'll likely mention the Bose QuietComfort 45 Headphones, and for good reason. The QuietComfort 45s are known for their excellent noise-cancelling abilities as well as their audio performance and comfort – they are definitely the most comfortable over-ear headphones I've used, even after hours of use.
Bose claims that you hear more of your music and no outside noise, thanks to 50 years of research. But if you do need to be aware of your surroundings, you can choose to use the Aware Mode to let in some noise. You can also change the bass, mid-range and treble in the Bose Music app to ensure your music sounds the way you like it.
There are also four external microphones on the QuietComfort 45s that help to cut out wind and other external sounds when you're trying to have a conversation while wearing them.
The headphones offer a huge 22 hours of battery life, making them perfect for long-haul flights. If you're in a pinch, a 15-minute charge will get you up to three hours of use, while a full recharge takes two and a half hours.

While they're not cheap, they retail for $499.9, reviewers have shared their thoughts, with one person describing them as "the best headphones ever" and adding that the "sound quality is amazing".
"I’ve never had a better pair of headphones," another added, while a third wrote, "I have had Beats Pro and nothing compares to Bose."
One fan even said they "can't put them down" after a couple of months of use.
Shoppers also shared that they love the fact they can pair the headphones with more than one product at a time, something I've also found very useful – with an older pair of headphones I used, I had to constantly connect and reconnect to different devices.
Some also said they were nervous about the over-ear headphones being uncomfortable with different ear-piercing placements but haven't had any issues. In my experience, the headphones were always comfortable, not something I can say about other brands, which did put pressure on ear piercings.
If you're after a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, these are definitely worth the money for quality and comfort!
