Shoppers mock ASOS for selling $55 'high-vis' hoodies
ASOS is the latest online retailer to fall victim to online mockery for selling a “high-vis” hoodie in the name of fashion.
The unisex garment comes in neon orange and features grey reflective stripes similar to those worn by construction workers for safety purposes.
But dressing like a builder doesn’t come cheap, as ASOS is flogging the ‘Collusion Everyone Together’ hoodie for $55 (£30).
Of course, this hasn’t gone unnoticed with social media users calling out the retailer for seeking sartorial inspiration from the local building site.
One joked: “Pretty sure that’s just a high-vis, ASOS.”
While another tweeted, “So you can pay £30 dress like you work on roadworks 9-5. Cheers ASOS.”

But it’s not the first time the online giant has come under fire for its bizarre fashion items.
Last month, the budget-friendly site was ridiculed for selling a pair of see-through tracksuit bottoms with social media users likening the garment to “clingfilm”.
