Shoppers are 'in love' with Aldi's $79 velvet bench

Aldi has done it again, and you better be ready to fight for it because we’re betting this bargain is going to fly off the shelves.

Customers are going wild for an opulent velvet bench that’s setting them back just $79.

Part of the weekly Special Buys, the ‘luxury’ bench is an ottoman-style piece velvet upholstered with a distinctly high end feel for.

It comes in blue or navy and with a one year warranty the bench has spawned a slew of love-heart emojis, with customers raving about the bargain price and sleek look on social media.

“Loving all that velvet,” wrote one customer.

“The chair I think i need!!!” raved another.

“Omg I need that velvet chair,” said a third.

Accounts dedicated to sharing hot deals have racked up hundreds of likes on images of the catalogue bargain, and fans are speculating that it’s going to be another case of first in best dressed.

“It’s (going to) be another busy week in Aldi,” one experienced user wrote.

“This is going to be epic, get there early,” warned one.

Meanwhile, diehard fans of the supermarket chain are starry eyed over their continuous bargains that keep hitting the mark.

“Aldi always impresses me,” gushed one loyal fan.

“Aldi killing it again,” said another admirer.

Last week, the supermarket caused a frenzy with its robotic vacuum deal that flew off shelves all over the country.

There’s at least one user, however, who’s still nursing their wounds, and feeling trepidatious about this latest bargain.

“Do we need to line up for 7 hours to fight to get them?” they asked.
