Reigning WNBA champions the Washington Mystics made headlines on Wednesday when they ceremoniously honored Jacob Blake, the Black man shot by police officers in Kenosha, Wisconsin Sunday. The ladies all wore shirts with letters spelling Blake’s name on the front and seven drawn bullets on the back, symbolizing how many times the 29-year-old was shot.

The following day, they along with the rest of the league released a video detailing their actions in an emotional statement.

Since the return of sports, the WNBA has been at the forefront of social justice initiatives. Most recently, the ladies advocated for the Louisville police officers who killed EMT Breonna Taylor in March be arrested. Their activism led to the production of black shirts that read “Say Her Name” in honor of the 26-year-old.

In honor of this week’s strikes, BreakingT just dropped a new WNBA Speaks capsule collection for each team. On the front, various phrases like “Take Action Now” and Change Can’t Wait” are written around a women’s hand balled into a fist. On the back, you can pick your favorite player wear their number.

A portion of proceeds from these shirts goes directly to AAPF. The African American Policy Forum is an innovative think tank that connects academics, activists, and policy-makers to promote a vision of racial justice that embraces the intersections of race, gender, class, and other barriers that disempower those who are marginalized in society.

We listed a few of the popular franchises below, but you can shop the shirts for all cities over on BreakingT.
