Shock claims Bachelor contestants are 'brainwashed'

Following the explosive Bachelor finale this week that saw Nick Cummins choose no one at the end, contestants have come out with explosive revelations about how the show works behind the scenes.

Laurina Fleure, who starred in Blake Garvey’s season in 2014, claims producers ‘brainwash’ the contestants to fall in love with the eligible bachelor.

“I was very into him because they brainwash you,” she tells news.com.au.

“I even had one of the producers say to me before Bachelor In Paradise, ‘Don’t worry, it’s not like The Bachelor where we lock you in a room and brainwash you,’ which I thought already.

“They sit you down and say, ‘how good does Blake look today?’ or ‘isn’t he gorgeous, isn’t he fabulous, you girls are so lucky to have him,’ and so on.”

Laurina says that being “cut off some society” changes the contestants’ perception in the Bachelor mansion, as well as the fact they’re only speaking about one guy all day, every day.

On Thursday night both Brittany and Sophie confessed their love for Nick Cummins’ in the finale for Australia’s sixth season of the popular dating show.

But the Honey Badger dropped a major bombshell when he in fact turned around and admitted he wasn’t ready to pursue a proper relationship with either women.

Now the former rugby union player will open up about his shock decision in a tell-all interview with Lisa Wilkinson on The Sunday Project this weekend.
