Sharon Osbourne invites North West over for tea after Black Sabbath fan revelation

Sharon Osbourne is planning a star-studded afternoon tea, inviting Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's eight-year-old daughter North West over to her house.

In an interview this week with Ellen DeGeneres, Kardashian revealed North is a "full goth girl", adding that "she puts fake tattoos on her face and she listens to Black Sabbath".

When asked how she would even be aware of the British heavy metal band, Kardashian said she had "no idea", but suggested she might have come across their music on TikTok.

Osbourne was delighted that her rocker husband Ozzy has such a famous, young fan and immediately extended an invitation on social media.

"When is North coming over for a cup of tea?" she wrote on Instagram, tagging Kardashian, West and North's grandmother Kris Jenner.

North is yet to reply to the invitation, but it's surely an irresistible offer for any fan of Sabbath.

The band — made up of frontman Ozzy, guitarist Tony Iommi, drummer Bill Ward and bassist Geezer Butler — rose to fame in the early 1970s as pioneers of the burgeoning heavy metal genre.

They played their final concert in their home city of Birmingham in 2017.

In 2019, Sabbath's impact on the music industry was honoured when the group received a lifetime achievement prize at the Grammy Awards.

Elsewhere in the interview with DeGeneres, Kardashian discussed the variety of interests of her four children and expressed her pride at their diversity.

"All of my kids are so different," she said. "Saint is like video game, tech whizz, amazing. Psalm is really into Paw Patrol and cars. Every kid is so different.

"Chi-Chi is my little princess. Anything princess, anything girly-girl, that's her."

Kardashian split from husband and father of her children Kanye West earlier this year and they share joint custody of their family.

She is currently training to become a lawyer, but said this will not curtail her love of selfies.
