The 2024 TIME Women of the Year Gala is kicking off in Los Angeles Tuesday night, with honorees including Barbie director Greta Gerwig, tennis star Coco Gauff and actress Taraji P. Henson walking the red carpet.

Greta Gerwig directed Barbie, which earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Lucas Marquardt and Ada Limón

Poet Ada Limón attended with her husband, Lucas Marquardt. She is the first Latina to be named Poet Laureate of the U.S.

Reem Hajajreh is the founder and director of Women of the Sun.

Nadia Murad

Nadia Murad is an activist who won the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize with Denis Mukwege for "their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict."

Coco Gauff

Tennis star Coco Gauff won the 2023 U.S. Open.

Andra Day

Singer and actress Andra Day recently starred in the Sundance film Exhibiting Forgiveness.
