The Utah-based medical student married his wife, influencer Jennifer Affleck, in 2019, and the couple share two children. Now their family life will be on display in their reality show, which follows eight Mormon moms who found fame on TikTok when they were involved in a sex scandal.

It’s unclear if Zac and Jennifer participated in the infamous “soft swinging” lifestyle with their fellow castmates but the show’s first official trailer hinted that all was not well in the Affleck household.

“The group is important to me,” Jennifer says to Zac at one point during the clip. Later in the teaser, he can be heard saying: “Being divorced and taking care of two kids would be kind of tough, so you make the decision.”

Jennifer first mentioned Zac’s familial ties to the Gone Girl star on TikTok in September 2022 — shortly after Ben and Jennifer Lopez got married in Vegas and she took the actor’s last name.

“When you thought you were going to be the next JLO. But instead ... she stole your name & you’re busting it down to Ms. Rachel,” the TikToker wrote alongside a video of her dancing to “Wheels on the Bus.”

While talking to PEOPLE in September 2024, Jennifer revealed that she and Zac have "never met" the actor. "Zac's dad has [met them], when [Ben] was very little," she added. "I'm hoping to meet him one day, too!"

Where did Zac Affleck grow up?

Zac was born in Utah, and his parents, Dave and Kristel Leishman Affleck, raised him in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS). After graduating from Olympus High School in May 2015, he participated in the church’s missionary program in the Dominican Republic.

Zac eventually graduated from Brigham Young University in July 2024 and was accepted into medical school.

The Utah-born reality star married Jennifer, who calls the Bay Area home, on June 28, 2019, in Newport Beach, Calif. The ceremony was held at the local LDS temple, while the reception took place on a large yacht.
