Sean Penn, 64, and Actress Girlfriend, 30, Make Red Carpet Debut

Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn, 64, made his official red carpet debut with his new girlfriend, 30-year-old actress Valeria Nicov, at the 21st Marrakech Film Festival.

The two arrived at the event on Saturday, Nov. 30, looking elegant as they posed for photos together. Penn wore a classic suit to the festival, while Nicov had on a strapless black gown and wore her hair in a sleek bun.

Penn was being honored at the film festival and received the Festival Star award on stage from Italian actress Valeria Golino.

This event was the first official outing for the couple, who were reportedly first spotted together in September while kissing in Madrid, Spain.

They appeared to travel around together over the next couple of months, spotted kissing and cuddling in both Los Angeles, Calif. and Paris, France.

Before Nicov, Penn was in a relationship with actress Olga Korotyayeva, 44, for a few months in 2023. After their breakup, Penn talked about being happy as a single man casually dating in a June 2024 interview with The New York Times.

"I’m just free," he declared at the time, before adding, "If I’m going to be in a relationship, I’m still going to be free, or I’m not going to be in it, and I’m not going to be hurting. I don’t sense I’ll have my heart broken by romance again."

It's unclear how serious Penn and Nicov's relationship is. Before Penn's short relationship with Korotyayeva, he was married to 32-year-old Australian actress Leila George. The two got married in the summer of 2020, and George filed for divorce in late 2021. The couple finalized their divorce in April 2022.

Penn has had a number of high-profile relationships over the years and he was previously married to Madonna and Robin Wright.
