Savannah Chrisley Bonds with Jason Tartick Over Kaitlyn Bristowe Split — but She 'Knew' It Was 'Going to End'
'The Bachelorette' alum admitted to Chrisley that he also "knew" his ex-fiancée would dump him as the pair pushed down a growing "certainty" that they were not each other's "person"
While Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick's breakup came as a surprise to many, that wasn't the case for Savannah Chrisley.
As Tartick joined Chrisley for the latest episode of her Unlocked podcast on Tuesday, the two reality stars opened up about his summer 2023 split from Bristowe.
But when the Chrisley Knows Best alum, 26, shared her take on the matter, she recalled a previous conversation she had with the 38-year-old Dew Edit founder when she appeared on the podcast last March.
"She came on my podcast in March and I just knew by how she was talking about your relationship," Chrisley said. "I was like, 'This is not going anywhere. This is going to end.'"
To that, Tartick, 35, said: "I've heard there were a lot of conversations I wasn't aware of before the breakup that were similar to that."

Chrisley noted that based on her conversation with Bristowe, there "was never a step to move forward" for the pair and "there was never, like, let's plan a wedding, let's do these things."
"That's what I had asked and she was like, 'Oh, I'm in no hurry,'" she continued. "Like I said, I have so much respect [for Kaitlyn]. She was awesome, but I just knew then that I felt like your relationship was not [going to work]. I didn't even know, honestly, at that point if y'all were still together, just by like social media interaction and stuff like that."
Like Chrisley, Tartick also "knew" the pair were not built to last, but "was avoiding it."
"It was gradually growing apart. I was a bit in denial," he said, noting that he initially wanted to "salvage" the relationship before she broke up with him.
"I think I lived a little bit in a cloud," he continued. "I should have seen [our issues] and I should have stepped into it earlier."
Citing what went wrong between them, Tartick explained that "a lot of things came to fruition that had to be worked through and they weren't worked through properly in a healthy way." He also said that "resentment was built and it wasn't worked through," either.

"I know with certainty, even when I look back at all the thumb-pointing, the things I should have done better and been a better partner. And I will be in my next relationship," he said. "I know with certainty that she absolutely was not my person. I know with certainty I absolutely wasn't her person."

Following Bristowe's broken engagement to her Bachelorette frontrunner Shawn Booth, she met Tartick — who had competed for Becca Kufrin on her respective Bachelorette season — when he made an appearance on her Off the Vine podcast in 2018. They began dating in 2019 and got engaged in 2021.
Tartick and Bristowe split in July 2023 but didn't publicize the news until the following month. In a joint Instagram statement, the now-exes called the breakup a "life-altering decision" that sparked "many emotions and changes" for them to navigate.
