While the nation caved in to another night with nothing but Netflix on the agenda, some of the film industry’s biggest names pulled out all the fashion stops on the red carpet.

With awards season well underway, it was the starry cast of 2019 superhero flick ‘Glass”s turn to prove their sartorial prowess at the film’s London premiere.

First up, actress Sarah Paulson – who plays Dr Ellie Staple in the movie – reminded us why she was one of the biggest style muses of 2018 in a flame-dipped hot pink dress by go-to label Prada.

Not one to hide behind the sartorial safety zone, the 44-year-old accessorised the ensemble with an aqua-hued Edie Parker clutch, jewelled Irene Neuwirth earrings and an Insta-worthy assortment of co-ordinating rings.

But it was her hair that really stole the spotlight, as the actress wore her cropped blonde locks in multiple neon bobbles – a sure-fire sign that ’90s accessorises are here to stay for SS19.

In a final bid for fashion points, she braved the capital’s wintry weather with a chic cropped jacket thrown over her shoulders in true blogger-inspired finesse.

Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson, 70, proved men can tackle the red carpet with just as much flair in a statement-making corduroy suit – a far cry from the traditional tux.

A matching beanie, polo neck and box-fresh trainers finished the look and we’re suddenly beginning to consider ditching millennial pink in favour of the lavender hue…

‘Split’ star James McAvoy also graced the red carpet in a failsafe Prada suit while co-star Anya Taylor-Joy made a name for herself in the fashion circuit wearing Saint Laurent plucked from the SS19 collection.

Seeking inspiration fresh from the runway, she finished the look with a slick satin headpiece.
