Sarah Harris throws a diva tantrum on KIIS FM

Studio Ten host Sarah Harris turned out quite the diva performance while visiting the KISS FM studios on Thursday.

The TV personality made her presence more than felt to a producer on the show, who found herself on the receiving end of increasingly ridiculous demands.

The diva behaviour was part of an elaborate hoax set up by the radio show, and the whole performance was captured on hidden cameras.

To kick off the morning Sarah demanded several topics be kept strictly off the record including ‘the Brussels Sprouts thing’ and ‘the Yumi and Kak thing’.

Cleverly, the topics didn’t come in the real-life interview after the ‘fake’ demands were met.

Other strange requests included the temperature in the room.

“Is it going to be warm in there? I kind of want it... like 24 degrees?” the host asked the nervous producer.

To her credit, the producer Jaime Hassos kept her cool responding measuredly to every request and even what she clearly took as a cry for help.

“I've just been starving myself for the Logies,” Sarah casually dropped, to the visible distress of the poor woman.

'Oh my God, you don't need to, you look great!” she tells her talent.

When she asks her if she’d like a coffee, Sarah mentions she’d love ‘an Irish coffee’ which elicits silence from the set-upon producer.

An Irish coffee for the uninitiated is a coffee spiked with whiskey which at 6 am in the morning - which was when Sarah was asking - is a somewhat unusual request.

The gag quickly ran its course however, with Harris breaking character after trying to pretend to be unhappy wit the segment, slapping a furious look on her face for seconds before she cracked a smile.

“I can't do this to you, you're too sweet!” she admits, giving the producer a hug.

This comes on the back of The Project panellist Peter Helliar being ‘escorted off’ the set of the current affair program by security as part of an elaborate joke on Tuesday.
