“I cherish the moments we had together before and during her illness.
“We all miss her greatly, and we thank her fans for their love and kindness, wishing them and their families a very happy Christmas.
“One can only try to stay safe in such difficult times.”
Harding revealed in August 2020 that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and that it had spread.
Her mother Marie announced on 5 September this year that she had passed away, saying her “beautiful” daughter was “a bright shining star”.
Earlier this month, Harding’s bandmate Kimberley Walsh said grieving for her late bandmate was a daily struggle.
“I can’t lie, it absolutely knocked us all for six and the grieving is a daily challenge,” she told Psychologies magazine.
