Sarah Ferguson has revealed she’s back living with her ex-husband Prince Andrew, almost four years after moving out of his royal residence.

The Duchess of York gave the candid update during a speech at billionaire Ernie Boch Jr’s estate in Boston, and included rare details about the royals’ unusual living arrangement.

“Yes, I do live in the Royal Lodge with my handsome prince who is the best looking prince of the whole darn lot,” she told the assembled crowd.

Royal reunion

Despite her obvious affection for the Queen’s second eldest son, Sarah and Andrew divorced in 1996, while remaining dedicated co-parents of their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

This closeness has long inspired rumours the former couple had secretly reunited, chatter which only intensified when Sarah moved into Andrew’s home - situated on the grounds of Windsor Castle - a decade ago.

But in 2015 Sarah’s spokesperson confirmed she would be leaving the residence, and moving to the couple’s Swiss chalet.

The duchess claimed at the time she would ‘keep a room at the Royal Lodge for family occasions’ but was focusing on ‘becoming a more independent unit’.

However, in the years since, rumours of a reunion have intensified alongside Fergie’s increasingly prolific appearances at royal events.

Confirmation of her return to the prince’s home will no doubt heighten this chatter, with the speech marking the first time the duchess publicly acknowledged the updated living arrangement.

She also used her moment in Boston as an opportunity to quash other rumours surrounding her family - namely that the York’s daughter Princess Eugenie is pregnant.

The 29-year-old married tequila ambassador Jack Brooksbank in October last year, an event which saw Fergie appear in her first official royal portrait in more than two decades.
