I’m a shopping editor, and I just found my new favorite lip gloss oil that makes lips feel so soft — not sticky at all
When I first started carrying a handbag in the sixth grade, I didn’t have a wallet or a cell phone yet, and my BFF and I used to joke that it was just a bag full of lip gloss. I’ll never forget when we emptied our bags at lunchtime and counted 13 lip glosses in hers alone. Today, my lip gloss obsession is still going strong. While I don’t usually carry more than three at a time, I try out a new one at least once a month.
This month, I had the pleasure of trying out clean beauty brand Saie’s newest launch, Glossybounce, and needless to say, I’ve been keeping at least two shades of it in my purse. Saie’s Glossybounce is a super hydrating lip gloss oil hybrid. It has the slippery, non-sticky feel of an oil, the shiny look of a gloss and the moisturizing qualities of a balm all in one. It legit looks like glass on your lips.
Available in six shades.
I especially love that the vegan, petroleum-free formula contains hyaluronic acid, shea butter and jojoba oil to hydrate your lips. I tried wearing it on a day when my lips were dry and cracked, and after a few hours, they were super smooth. Other lip glosses usually just sit on top of my lips and don’t provide many other benefits than looking pretty. For those, I’ve had to apply a balm and then the gloss on top. But Glossybounce does it all in one swipe.
Glossybounce launched on Aug. 29 in six sheer shades: Kiss (clear), Play (bright pink), Bounce (mauve), Dip (dusty rose), Push (soft brown) and Dream (berry). They retail for $22 on Saie’s website, Sephora and Cult Beauty.
If you tend to get dry lips in the cooler weather, I recommend that you pick up one (or more) of these ahead of the fall season.
