Sabrina Carpenter Said That She Was "Very, Very Communicative" With Taylor Swift Over Her Skims Campaign
Sabrina Carpenter spoke about her friendship with Taylor Swift and her Skims campaign in a new interview.
Of course, Sabrina has gone from a Swiftie to Taylor's Eras Tour opener. So, when Sabrina collaborated with Kim Kardashian's brand Skims in April, a small handful of people criticized her for the move, given Kim's turbulent history with Taylor.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about the internet rumors that the collab led to some kind of bad blood, Sabrina said, "As much as people want to believe you’re tuned into every little thing, I’m not because I’m constantly working."
"In that scenario, I’ve been very, very communicative with her about that situation, and I just love her so much and support her till the end," she continued. "So it was no weirdness for me, but I know people will just say things because that’s all they have time to do."
"We’re very, very verbal with each other about our mutual love and admiration," Sabrina added elsewhere of their friendship more broadly. "She played me ‘But Daddy I Love Him’ before it came out, and that’s also one of my favorites."
