SAS' Koby Abberton in 'constant pain' after injuring himself on the show
During last year's season of SAS Australia, Koby Abberton was forced to quit when an old back injury flared up and became too painful for him to continue on with the show.
Now, the 43-year-old has shared that he's been in "constant pain" ever since, and has even been unable to work as a surf instructor in Bali, where he lives.
"I did have a previous back injury from five years ago but this is a new injury and it wouldn't have happened if not for the show," he told the Sunday Telegraph.
He continued, "The network has tried to help but it's in the hands of the insurance company and it's really hard."

Koby said he has been struggling with his mental health since being injured as he can't do the one thing that helps clear his mind.
"Surfing controls my mental health, the way I am around my family, it's a big thing for me."
Koby opted out of a challenge during the show last year that would have seen him carry a 70kg sandbag for two hours.
"Nah, I'm not going to hurt myself," he said. "I've got a bad back, so I can't risk it, sir. I've broken it twice."
Ollie Ollerton questioned whether his back was causing him "grief" at that time.
"It's causing me grief just running," Koby told him as he handed over his armband.
He later added, "I'm not here to hurt myself. I live a really simple life and I'm the happiest I've ever been.
"I've been a good dad for the last five years. But if I go home and I'm lying in bed for a year, my whole life goes south. And I don't want that for my son."
Koby is married to Ukrainian model Olya Nechiporenko, with the pair sharing son Makua, six.
He later revealed on Triple M's Moonman in the Morning that he received a cool $100,000 for appearing on the military-style program.
More recently, Koby has made headlines for slamming mandatory vaccines, labelling them as "f**king garbage" on Nova's Fitzy and Wippa.
