Rylan has shared a video of his mum Linda in hospital, giving fans an update of her post-surgery recovery.
In the new clip shared to Instagram yesterday (September 25), Linda can be seen in a wheelchair on a platform lift as she appears to be chatting to Rylan, who's presumably behind the camera. It appears that Rylan's mum still wears a cast on her leg under her trousers and seems in good spirits.
"Early morning hospital bants," the host captioned the short clip, edited to Westlife's ballad 'You Raise Me Up'.
Rylan, who's now hosting sex-positive Channel 4 show Sex Rated, has been giving regular updates about Linda to his followers.
He first took to Instagram on September 1 to announce his mum had a bad fall and needed surgery, receiving an outpouring of support from fellow celebrities and fans alike.
The presenter also hinted at Linda's prior health conditions that may make recovery "more complicated". He then posted two snaps of his mum at the hospital over the following days, sharing that surgery had gone well and Linda was on the mend.
Back in 2019, the former Strictly: It Takes Two presenter opened up on Linda living with Crohn's disease.
"My mum has suffered all my life from severe Crohn's Disease and I don't think Crohn's gets spoke about as much as it [should]," Rylan said at the time, adding: "I nearly lost my mum last year, again. For the third time."
