Ryan Reynolds had a funny reaction to seeing pal Hugh Jackman post on social media about other friends.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, Jackman, 56, shared a photo on Instagram posing with arms wrapped around two pals, Australian TV and radio personality Gus Worland and Andrew Bimson.

"Friends who are family!" the actor wrote in the caption.

Reynolds, who is used to his and Jackman's Instagram grids featuring photos of each other since Deadpool & Wolverine released in July, responded to the post in a comment by tagging their friend, director Shawn Levy, and writing, "@slevydirect is not gonna take this well. You just flaunt it like this?"

"u know I come first Mr Director!! ❤️ and that other guy knows too," Worland replied to Reynolds.

Bimson and Worland are both friends of Jackman's from his home country, Australia. Worland has spoken about his lifelong friendship with Jackman in the past, most recently on the Life Uncut podcast in August. The pair met in elementary school.

"Not a large level, but I would be lying to you to say if there wasn't a little moment where I go 'oh,' " Worland said on that podcast, when he was asked if he ever feels jealous of Jackman and Reynolds' friendship. "But then I know the two of them and their friendship is doing a whole lot of good, and obviously it's a fun movie."

While Worland said on that podcast that Reynolds has joked about how rich celebrities "can't be friends with someone who doesn't have a billion dollars" during his appearance with Jackman on Worland's radio show, he said the Deadpool star was "so lovely" to him when he visited Deadpool & Wolverine's set.

"The first thing he did was come up and said, 'Jacko loves you. I've got a friend like he does and this is lovely to meet you now,' and stuff, so we had a big cuddle and stuff and that was nice," Worland said at that time. "But I have asked Jacko, 'What's the story with this guy?' And he's like, 'Mate, I love him, but you're my main man,' which is nice."

As for the status of Jackman's friendship with Reynolds and Levy, the trio shared photos together on Instagram as recently as Nov. 3. Reynolds also recently revealed to Variety that he is writing a new non-Marvel movie that he hopes will star him and Jackman and have Levy as director.
