While we are all about mindful shopping, and don't encourage thoughtless splurging in the sales, when one of our favourite affordable handbag brands launches pre-Christmas discounts, it's worth a look for a great investment. Demellier – the sustainable bag brand loved by numerous Bazaar editors, A-listers, and members of the royal family – has launched a Black Friday sale ahead of the festive season, and it's well worth a look.

DeMellier is a British label that was first launched in 2010 by Mireia Llusia-Lindh (who cut her teeth working at Burberry and LVMH), and it is known for its exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful handbags. The ethos of the label is all about mixing the modern with the traditional, and it has resulted in a number of cult designs that are loved by royalty (both Kate and Meghan own several DeMellier bags).
