The photo, which has never been seen by the public before, was taken earlier this year in July to mark the Royal Air Force’s 100th anniversary.

Five other stamps with images of Charles have been released.

One features the Prince with his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, which is from their 2015 Christmas card.

Another showcases Charles matching with his sons again, in their red polo outfits.

Prince Charles as the doting grandfather

In the doco, Charles’ wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall gushed about how amazing a grandparent her husband is.

“He will get down on his knees and crawl about with them for hours, you know making funny noises and laughing and my grandchildren adore him, absolutely adore him,” she said, according to The Express.

“He reads Harry Potter and he can do all the different voices and I think children really appreciate that.”
