Robert Irwin’s Throwback Photo Has Fans Begging Him to ‘Bring Back’ One ‘Iconic’ Childhood Style Choice
Growing up as the son of the late Steve Irwin, the world watched Robert Irwin transform from a cute little boy into a young man with a promising career of his own in animal conservationism—so it was no surprise that fans couldn't get enough of a recent throwback pic posted by the 20-year-old on social media.
On Thursday, Sept. 19, Robert shared two separate photos of himself posing alongside sister Bindi Irwin. In both shots, the brother and sister are looking at each other and smiling, with the city of Singapore serving as a backdrop. The only difference? The first pic was taken a decade ago.
"10 years between these photos. Time flies! @bindisueirwin," read the post's caption.
Robert's followers were both amazed by how tall he had grown and amused at his haircut in the older snap.
"Little brothers shooting past their big sisters strikes again 👀," wrote one fan.
"That growth spurt is violent 😂," observed a second person.
"Bring back the bowl cut @robertirwinphotography 😜," demanded another Instagram user.
"The 1st haircut is iconic 2013," gushed someone else.
There's no question that Robert has come a long way since he had that bowl cut. As a popular social media personality, he uses his platform to educate through wildlife photography and videos.
Earlier this month—one day before the 20th anniversary of his father's death—Robert revealed that he was selected as one of the official ambassadors for the Earthshot Prize, a program founded by the Prince of Wales to promote sustainability efforts and conservationism worldwide.
