Robert Irwin 'Cleans Up Well' in All-Black Tuxedo as He Attends Awards Show With Surprising Date

Robert Irwin, the youngest child of the late Steve Irwin and his wife Terri, arrived at the 2024 Logie Awards in Australia on Aug. 18 in style, surprising some with his choice of date.

The 20-year-old was nominated for two awards at the special event, including the TV Week Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality and the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter (although, unfortunately, he didn't win either). With Robert's Logie Awards nomination, he made history as the youngest man ever nominated for one of the respected awards, as reported by Yahoo!.

Robert impressed fans with his suave fashion at the awards show, wearing an all-black tuxedo with a bowtie as he posed with his date for the night. While Daily Mail reported that Robert was expected to attend with his mother Terri by his side, he surprised people by walking the carpet with Australian comedian Julia Morris.

The two hosted the reality series I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! this year after Robert stepped in as the new co-host. In contrast to his dark suit, Morris looked beautiful in a bold red gown for the high-profile TV event.

Robert also documented the special night on his social media page, sharing photos showing his transformation from the day before working out in wildlife versus his chic red carpet outfit, captioning it, "Yesterday’s outfit… and tonight’s. 😂 It’s Logies time!!!"

His sister, Bindi, commented on the post, "We are all cheering for you!!"

Fans flooded the comments with compliments for the young star, with one writing, "Wowza! You clean up well sir! 🔥🔥🔥."

"Get someone who can do both," said a different fan, while a third chimed in, "I really do believe You can pull off pretty much anything🤣."

Another joked, "You should have gone with the same outfit 😅."
