Riley Keough is hitting the road to celebrate her late mother Lisa Marie Presley.
On Tuesday, July 30, the Emmy-nominated actress, 35, announced that she’s heading out on a book tour this fall in honor of the release of her mother’s forthcoming posthumous memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, from Random House, which she helped finish after Lisa Marie died in early 2023.
“Sometimes the most famous among us are the least known. Join @RileyKeough for a one-of-a-kind conversation as she pays tribute to her mother Lisa Marie Presley’s incredible memory with the release of their memoir, FROM HERE TO THE GREAT UNKNOWN,” the book publisher shared on social media.
According to Random House’s announcement, Riley will be joined by a special guest in six different cities as she dives into “a legendary tale of American royalty, family ties, the highs and lows of fame, love, grief, and the unbreakable bond between a mother and daughter.”
The book tour will kick off in New York City on Wednesday, Oct. 9 and then make more stops that month in St. Louis, Nashville, London and Memphis at the famous Graceland estate. The final tour stop will be in Los Angeles on Sunday, Oct. 20.

In June, PEOPLE exclusively unveiled the cover for From Here to the Great Unknown, which features an illustration of an infant Lisa Marie and her father, the late great Elvis Presley. The book is written in both her and Riley's voices as the mother-daughter duo “try to heal each other” through past memories, per the description.
Shortly before Lisa Marie died on Jan. 12, 2023, at age 54, the singer-songwriter asked her daughter to help finish her memoir, which touches on some of the more difficult moments of her life — like losing her father Elvis in 1977, moving to Los Angeles with her mother, Priscilla Presley, and her experiences with addiction and grief.
With help from tapes she recorded before her death, Riley pieced together the final parts of her mother’s book, which recall stories about everything from smashing golf carts at her childhood home, Graceland, and her long relationship with Riley father, musician Danny Keough, to her marriage to Michael Jackson.
“Few people had the opportunity to know who my mom really was, other than being Elvis’s daughter,” Riley previously said in a statement. “I was lucky to have had that opportunity and working on preparing her autobiography for publication has been a privilege, albeit a bittersweet one.”
She added, “I’m so excited to share my mom now, at her most vulnerable and most honest, and in doing so, I do hope that readers come to love my mom as much as I did.”
Riley previously opened up about co-writing her mother’s memoir in a red carpet interview with Variety at the 2024 Emmy Awards, where she spoke about how “honored” she is to be a part of the process.
“She had been working on it for I want to say three or four years and it’s just something I felt that I needed to do for her and help her complete that project,” the Under the Bridge star said. “It’s extremely emotional and also very therapeutic. It makes me feel very close to her. So it’s kind of, again, bittersweet and difficult, but also really special.”
