Richie Strahan caught in messy 'love square' on Bachelor In Paradise

Paradise just got spicy, and it remains to be seen if a certain bachelor can handle the heat.

The latest promo for Bachelor in Paradise is promising some serious drama for Richie Strahan who appears to find himself in a very twisted love… square?

He’s got at least three ladies fighting over him and it’s not clear if this truly is paradise for the 2016 Bachelor, or if he’s mixed up in some kind of hellish tropical cocktail.

“I’m here because I’m open to falling in love again,” Richie says. “I kind of just hope there’s no ex-girlfriends.”

Oh Richie.

He’s already been seen to clash with ex girlfriend Alex Nation, now there’s another skeleton from his closet waiting for him with open arms.

The former bachelor comes face-to-face with Rachael Gouvignon, who is back for a third serve after she made it to Richie’s top 4 in 2016 and then appeared on the last season of Bachelor in Paradise.

She clearly hasn’t given up on love, or Richie. We see the pair getting cosy on a romantic date in the promo.

But Rachael’s once again got some competition on her hands. Good old Cassandra Wood also finds Richie “pretty attractive” and it looks like she’s throwing her hat in the ring.

To top it all off, Cass’ former co-contestant Cat Henesy-Smith – she of the sharp words and sharper claws – is also batting her eyelashes towards the hapless hunk.

“I’ve got a bit of a crush on Richie,” the infamous ‘mean girl’ admits.

Looks like Richie is keeping all options on the table, hopping between dates with each of the girls. However, the ladies are having none of it and appear to fight over the former bachelor.

Between two ex love-interests and the new players in the game, this could get very ugly.

“I’ve got my work cut out for me,” says Richie, in what has to be the biggest understatement of the series.

Bachelor In Paradise season two will air later this year on Channel 10.
