Remi Bader is giving an update on her health.

The 29-year-old social media influencer has built a following for her transparency about her life, posting realistic try-on hauls and un-filtered opinions about the need for body inclusivity in the fashion industry.

On Tuesday, Nov. 19, Bader uploaded a video to her social accounts explaining why she's choosing to post food-related content and addressing where she stands in her mental health journey. "Just to share a little about why I'm doing all this food stuff," she began the clip.

Since going viral and amassing the massive platform that she has today, Bader has shared the mental challenges she's faced and continues to tackle through candid videos on TikTok and Instagram. In recent weeks, she's incorporated food and restaurant reviews into her content.

"I've obviously struggled with binge eating for years and I feel like I've done a lot of work on getting better in terms of it," Bader said in the video before showing her viewers the assortment of food items she purchased at Rigor Hill Market in New York City, a "trendy little place" in Tribeca.

"I still do have a pretty messed up mindset when it comes to food, but it's so much better," she continued. "So I'm enjoying being able to eat all different kinds of foods and that's why I've been wanting to share this. Hope that helps."

Bader continued to take her viewers through the items she bought and taste-tested them throughout the video. Among them included the market's "special egg sandwich," "one of the best" chocolate croissants she's had in the city and its "amazing" turkey sandwich.

The content creator ended the video by telling her viewers that "it's been nice chatting" with them but had to head to her dietician appointment soon after she wrapped the clip. "I am needing a little bit of a revamp on helping my mindset because clearly, I've just been eating what I want," she said.

"But I need a little bit more structure... That's all I'm going to share in terms of that," she continued, before noting that she's moving out of her N.Y.C. neighborhood and into a new apartment on Friday. "I'm trying to enjoy my last moments in Tribeca," she said elsewhere in the video.

Discussing the topic of weight and body image is nothing new for Bader, but it's been something she's tackled differently in recent months as she's been going through body transformations of her own.

A couple of days before sharing an update on her binge-eating journey, Bader opened up about her mental health status in a TikTok recapping her visit to The Berkshires wellness resort in Canyon Ranch in Western Massachusetts. She made clear, however, that the video was "not about" her body.

"This was me a year ago this week and this is me today," Bader said in a voiceover that compared a video of her working out in two clips one year apart. She then posted a third clip of herself from a few weeks ago in October.

"This is my third time going to the Berkshires when I'm feeling overwhelmed and just needing a place to find some peace," she says in the voiceover. "I do like to look back on old videos and compare my then to my mindset now."

"This is the place where I feel most at peace and can kind of find myself again when I'm down in the dumps. Going nine months later and realizing how much of a better place I'm in overall... and no, this isn't about my body. It's about my mental space, and that's all I'm talking about."

Meanwhile, in August, she addressed the criticism she's been receiving online about the negative comments she's read about her physique. She penned a lengthy caption alongside a video shared on Instagram.

"I hide a lot of my comments on here for my own mental health. Words like 'fat' 'whale' 'obese' 'skinny' 'tiny' to name a few," she wrote. "But of course I still see them and it's hard to see the constant conversation about my body on this app, because I also wonder, why does that need to be the most important thing about me?"

Addressing her recent transformation, Bader said this time last year, she was "too big for society, the closest people to me, and a bad example to the world." Now, she said she is criticized for dropping weight.

"This august I am too small for my community, too small for some brands, but still too big for many, and STILL too big for society," she wrote.

Though her appearance has changed, Bader wrote she still sees herself the same way "because my body has fluctuated since the day I could remember that my brain has never caught up with knowing if I was bigger or smaller or what I actually looked like."

Elsewhere in her post, Bader said she will one day open up about the "immense amount of trauma" she's dealt with in the past year, however, "now is just not the time." She concluded, "I am a lot bigger than my body and will always be the same Remi no matter what I weigh, and that I am sure of."
