Ree Drummond is embracing the holiday season!

The Pioneer Woman shared a festive reel of herself decorating her Christmas tree with her 4.3 million Instagram followers on Sunday, Dec. 8. And it seems for Drummond, bigger means better!

“Please for the love of Pete, wait for the end,” she began the caption of her tree-decorating reel — which was set to the theme of the movie Elf — adding a laugh-out-loud emoji.

“It took me the greater part of the day and four long movies,” the star continued of her efforts, adding, “I guess ornaments are next?!”

She added that the movies — which she described as "an important part of my journey" — were The Insider, No Country for Old Men, Interstellar and Inception, rather than the holiday-themed flicks fans were expecting.

The clip sees the 55-year-old Food Network star adorning a huge Christmas tree with hundreds of rainbow-effect lights. The tree was so tall that Drummond had to use a large, red step ladder to reach the top. She also precariously balances on the stairs of her Oklahoma home to reach a tricky spot at one point.

Once Drummond is happy with the lights, she sweeps up the fallen pine needles and adds a red velvet cloth around the tree’s base.

The star’s followers joked with her about the supersize tree in the reel’s comments. One fan asked, “Why didn’t you get the big tree?!” while another quipped, “You have 75 people in your family! No one was around to help? At least hold the ladder??”

But Ree isn’t the only Drummond family member busily readying their home for the holidays.

"It wasn't a charming 50-year-old house," she said of the original property, which was the same one Ladd grew up in and where they brought up their five kids.

"We loved raising our kids in the house, but it had foundation problems and had developed a few problems that were going to be pretty overwhelming to fix." The star also added that there were plumbing issues and water damage.

Their new home features Spanish ranch elements — such as arched doorways and exposed wood ceiling beams. It also has an industrial-style open iron staircase with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing the perfect spot for Ree to place her Christmas tree!
