He’s made himself a household name after being in the acting business for over 20 years, and normally this star is someone you wouldn’t miss in the street.
However, if you saw him out in Los Angeles earlier this week, you could have walked right on by without even noticing him.
Shia LaBeouf stepped out looking totally unrecognisable while on set for his new film Honey Boy.
The script for the film was written by the actor and is based on his own life.
Shia is playing the role of James Lort. The character is based upon his own father, Jeffrey Craig LaBeouf.
In order to transform himself into the character inspired by his father, the 32-year-old was seen with a receding hair line and long straggly hair, presumably a wig.
The actor was also rocking some 1980s-esque attire, most notably his green, blue, red and cream striped T-shirt.
Production for the film began in May and is set for release some time next year.
Shia star in the film alongside Lady Bird star Lucas Hedges, singer FKA Twigs, The Bling Ring star Maika Monroe and more.
