First of its kind: Inside Queenstown's $12k a night private luxury cruise

Queenstown’s idyllic Lake Wakatipu is one of those places you have to visit at least once in a lifetime, and now you can do it in style aboard a luxury yacht that will make you feel every bit like a Rich Kid of Instagram.

Lake Wakatipu is now home to the 80ft Pacific Jemm – a Central Otago experience like no other. A first of its kind in Queenstown luxury yacht Pacific Jemm is offering day cruising options for travellers wanting to take their trip to the next level.

Three huge terraces around the yacht provide the perfect vantage point to explore hidden coves, mountain vistas or Insta-worthy backdrops looking back to the famous Queenstown Bay.

Complete with all the modern amenities one expects of a top-notch hotel experience, the lavish vessel includes four luxury suites and has at its beck and call No5 Church Lane Head Chef, Trent Watson, who will prepare custom menus, highlighting locally-sourced ingredients.

Aboard, guests also have private access to a main salon, entertainment area and bar, alfresco and formal dining areas against a foredeck which boasts a large sun pad designed for holiday relaxing.

Catering for small groups, guests can opt to enjoy a standalone cruise along picturesque Lake Wakatipu, or perhaps choose to cast a line out and have a fresh catch cooked up by their private chef, enjoy an antipasto board on a West Coast beach, or charter a helicopter over the Southern Alps’ spectacular mountain glaciers and lush rainforests.

The discover, fly, feast cruise experience starts at NZD$10,450 for a group of three, extending up to NZD$13,505 for a group of eight.

If you want the dream to last longer you can stay aboard the Jemm’s four luxury suites with seven of your mates from NZD$12,500 per night.
