When you picture Her Majesty, the Queen she is the epitome of poise and etiquette, never setting a foot out of place.
But sometimes, given conditions outside of her control, even the monarch finds herself in some awkward situations.
Most recently as she was presenting the Royal Air Force with a new Queen’s Colour to recognise the work of the army sector, Her Majesty had a little trouble when it came to presenting the flag.

With high winds in London, the 92-year-old struggled to keep the flag under control and narrowly avoided being hit in the face.
Luckily it was only a momentary lapse and the Queen – with the assistance from a soldier – managed to get the flag under control.
You can always rely on the Queen to power through any difficult situation.
