Paul Lowe, the registrar general for Scotland, signed the death certificate. Also of note is that Queen Elizabeth's name is listed as Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, and her occupation is "Her Majesty The Queen."

Princess Anne, her only daughter, is listed as the witness. "I was fortunate to share the last 24 hours of my dearest Mother’s life. It has been an honour and a privilege to accompany her on her final journeys. Witnessing the love and respect shown by so many on these journeys has been both humbling and uplifting," the Princess Royal shared in a statement following Queen Elizabeth's death.

Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, accompanied Queen Elizabeth's coffin as it traveled from Balmoral to London. After the state funeral at Westminster Abbey and the committal service in Windsor, Queen Elizabeth was buried in Windsor Castle's King George VI Memorial Chapel in the Royal Vault, with her parents, sister, and husband.

The period of royal mourning officially ended this week, and today, the Chapel was opened to the public for the first time since her death. Hundreds of royal fans and well-wishers lined up in Windsor this morning to pay their respects to the late monarch.
