At 93 years of age, it’s hard to imagine Queen Elizabeth II chasing after her grandson Prince William.

But an adorable clip from back in 1986 has gone viral, showing the Queen in full grandmother mode.

Shared to a royal fan Twitter page, the short clip, which has also been turned into a GIF, was filmed on Prince Andrew and Fergie’s wedding day.

The newlyweds can be seen heading off on their honeymoon in a horse-drawn carriage in the footage, with family and friends waving them off.

“Here’s Queen Elizabeth running after little Prince William to stop him from getting closer to the carriage,” the clip was captioned.

“Her Majesty as a grandma is cute.”

The tweet is going viral with over 2.5K likes and almost 400 retweets.

And while fans loved seeing the Queen show off her grandmother side, many mused at the fact that we would no doubt be seeing Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and even Archie get up to similar mischief.

Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the clip, with some pointing out other hidden gems, like Princess Diana in a polkadot dress, Princess Margaret also chasing after the Queen, and the fact everyone was running until the Queen stopped.

“Love it when they do normal things,” one fan wrote.

“The Queen can move,” another said.
