Yahoo Lifestyle PSA: House Of Sunny's dream-like Airbnb drops in time for London Fashion Week
Airbnb is on a roll with its exclusive stays, recently bringing us Barbie's Dreamhouse and a night in Gwyneth Paltrow's guest house.
But the holiday rental website might have outdone itself with its latest collaboration, partnering with East London fashion brand House of Sunny to bring nostalgia-loving travellers a fantastical home away from home, just in time for London Fashion Week.
We were shown around the rental by designer and founder Sunny Williams himself and were mesmerised by the space and his passion for creating the whimsical Airbnb.
Entering through the plant-covered exterior, which was inspired by the swirling green tones of the Hockney dress loved by Kendall Jenner, you'll feel a sense of calm before even stepping inside the transformed showroom.
Each room in the Airbnb is inspired by one of House of Sunny’s iconic pieces, including exclusive designs from his latest collection dropping during Fashion Week. The one-of-a-kind space is the latest addition to the unique listings in Airbnb’s Design Category.
The bedroom is inspired by the sunset hues of the sell-out Sundown Cardigan, where a sumptuous bed is surrounded by red and orange waves to provide a restful night's sleep.
Behind the bedroom is the chance to try House of Sunny’s latest collection in the Wardrobe of Dreams, an ethereal and interactive space with a changing dreamscape that literally reflects the design of five of the freshest pieces.
Then there's the spa-like bathroom, a lavish rouge space with claret tiles throughout, in homage to Sunny's La Belle dress.
Loved by fashion editors and celebrities including Dua Lipa and Kendall Jenner, House of Sunny's fun collections include groovy cardigans and '90s-style handbags made sustainably thanks to the brand's 'shop before we drop' model.
How you can have a stylish stay in the House of Sunny Airbnb
An overnight stay for two guests takes place on 22nd September 2023 and can be booked on a first come first served basis, free of charge, on 19th September 2023 at 6pm at airbnb.com/houseofsunny.
During the stylish sleepover, the lucky guest will get a 1:1 design session with host, Sunny, too.
