The Princess of Wales relies on her wardrobe favourite, the white trouser suit
The arrival of September means one thing: back to work style, which is something that the Princess of Wales already has perfected.
Kate – whose wardrobe is admired worldwide thanks to her timeless approach to dressing and her elegant ensembles – relied on the classic white trouser suit to watch England play Argentina at the Rugby World Cup in France this weekend.
For the occasion, the princess rewore one of her favourite ensembles, a wide-leg trouser suit by British fashion label Alexander McQueen. Royal fashion fans will recognise the suit, as she previously wore the style to the Commonwealth Games in August last year.
Kate put her own elegant touch on her outfit by pairing the suit with pointed pumps, a leather belt, a woven leather Massimo Dutti bag, diamond jewellery by Mappin & Webb, and of course her iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring. For her beauty look, she relied on her signature blowout curls and a soft brown eyeshadow to contrast with her blue eyes.
She carried out her royal duties looking effortlessly chic, yet work appropriate. As a patron of the Rugby Football Union, Kate watched England win from the VIP box alongside the chairman of World Rugby Bill Beaumont, and then congratulated the players post-match.
Over the weekend, Kate alongside the rest of the royal family remembered the late Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away peacefully at Balmoral on 8 September 2022. The princess attended a private service to honour her life and legacy, held at St. Davids Cathedral in Wales. For the special occasion, Kate opted for a head-to-toe plum outfit in an Eponine London coat dress, Gianvito Rossi matching heels and a Sahar Millinery headpiece. Her accessories acted as a nod to Queen Elizabeth, as Kate wore a pair of beautiful pearl drop earrings that formerly belonged to the queen.
