Princess Mary's kids goof around in VIP box

While we were all glued to the TV for the Australian Open finals, Princess Mary and Prince Frederik enjoyed a family day out at the Handball World Championships finals in Denmark.

The Danish royals and their kids, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, and twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, watched the action at the Denmark vs Norway final from a VIP box on Monday.

And although the young ones seemed completely engaged in the match while it was on, cameras caught a cheeky moment where Mary’s sons started playing up while she was busy talking to two guests.

It’s a scene every parent is familiar with; mum’s trying to have an adult conversation, but her 13-year-old is more focused on tackling his eight-year-old brother.

Princess Isabella, 11, can be seen trying to weigh in, but Mary meanwhile, seems unaware of her children’s antics – or perhaps she just knows better than to engage.

And in case you were interested, Denmark beat Norway by just one point, finishing the match 32 to 31 and earning themselves a place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
