The royals are known for their diplomatic dressing and promoting designers from their home country.
However, while they may all have their own sense of style, it appears there’s one staple piece that lives in the wardrobe of every regal woman – a tartan coat.
Princess Mary was pictured yesterday on a royal trip to Texas, where she’s promoting the Danish culture and sustainable living.
The 47-year-old Aussie-born mum-of-four was snapped on a visit to the House of Scandinavia, which promotes Danish culture in the USA.
She stunned in a green and black tartan coat with a black jumper and trousers to beat the March chill and accessorised with a long chain.
But she’s not the only member of a royal family to be snapped wearing tartan, as both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are fans of the unique design.
The Duchess of Cambridge in particular is a huge fan of tartan and was photographed in Scotland in January wearing her favourite Alexander McQueen coat.
She’s also previously been snapped wearing tartan on Christmas Day with the rest of the royal family in 2017 and for a party at Kensington Palace in December last year.
During Meghan Markle’s first trip to Scotland in February 2018, she also stunned in a Burberry tartan coat.
