Prince William's Favorite Christmas Song Gives Major Dad Vibes

And it just makes so much sense.

When it comes to music, Prince William could not be more of a dad. His taste can only be described as—and I say this in the kindest way possible—corny and wholesome. He's a huge Swiftie who loves grooving to her most mainstream single, "Shake It Off." In the past, he has also cited Tina Turner's "The Best" and AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" as favorite songs. At his own wedding, he performed a rendition of "You're the One That I Want" from Grease. See what I mean? All major dad vibes.

All of this being said, it should come as no surprise that the Prince of Wales's favorite Christmas song fits right into the same musical category. Speaking to radio host Barry Alston back in 2021, per OK!, William said, “For this particular chat with you Barry, I’m gonna say ‘Feliz Navidad’ is my favourite Christmas song because it’s a bit different."

Yes, William is officially a "Feliz Navidad" guy.

And that's not all. William then added, “I could say Mariah Carey, who I love dearly as well. That’s a good one and obviously there are many others, but I think I’ll probably go with ‘Feliz Navidad.’ It’s a bit more jolly.” After seeing William's "Shake It Off" dancing skills, it's easy to picture him bopping around to both "Feliz Navidad" and "All I Want For Christmas" with his family.

As Christmas approaches, the royal family is preparing to celebrate the holidays after a difficult year that saw both Kate Middleton and King Charles undergoing cancer treatment.

The family will presumably be spending Christmas at Sandringham as per royal tradition, where there is an annual light festival. Yesterday, Middleton also hosted the annual Christmas carol concert where she made her second appearance of the week in a festive red coat. I like to imagine that after listening to all the carolers, she came home to find William belting out some Mariah Carey.
