Kate Middleton is officially on the mend. After completing her chemotherapy treatment back in September, royal reports recently revealed that the Princess of Wales has been getting back into exercise—and now her husband, Prince William, has confirmed that she is "doing really well."

William, who is in South Africa to support his Earthshot Prize awards in Cape Town, told reporters before the event that Middleton is “doing really well, thanks. And hopefully, she is watching tonight. So, cheering me on.”

“She's been amazing this whole this whole year. I know she will be really keen to see tonight be a success,” William sweetly added of his wife.

William's latest insight comes on the heels of royal biographer Robert Jobson telling Hello! that the princess is easing her way back into being more active.

"From what I understand, Catherine is doing very well. She is back training at the gym and doing all the things she wanted to do," Jobson told the outlet. "I do think that we will start to see a lot more of her, and that she will carry out engagements as well as continuing to work behind the scenes."

Though Middleton is working on building her stamina, that doesn't mean she plans to go international, or even travel far and wide domestically.

"Rather than travel all over the country all the time, like she used to, I think she will concentrate on more impactful events," Jobson speculated. "If she has her way, she will come back in stages and do things that are important to her: because she doesn't want to get ill again but also, I'm told, because she has a different perspective now."
