Prince William sends adorable gift to Jacinda Ardern's daughter
Jacinda Ardern and partner Clarke Gayford are celebrating their daughter’s first birthday with some royal help.
Posting on Twitter, proud dad Clarke shared a very special present baby Neve received from one royal admirer - none other than Prince William.
“Torn between letting the 1st birthday girl continue to maul this amazing gift or putting it somewhere safe FOREVER,” he wrote alongside a picture of the gift.

Happy Birthday Prince William, what a great shared birthday (I'm pretty sure you win with this) pic.twitter.com/KvXtOcfmfq— Clarke Gayford (@NZClarke) June 21, 2019
A small toy bumble bee on wheels was accompanied by a plaque inscribed, “Happy Birthday Neve, From Prince William”.
The couple’s adorable daughter can be seen in the background of the shot, clearly eager for more of the afore-mentioned ‘mauling’.
“Happy Birthday Prince William, what a great shared birthday (I'm pretty sure you win with this),” the doting dad continued.
The Prince celebrated his birthday on the 21st of June, the same day as the NZ PM’s daughter.
Clearly the royal was very keen to share the birthday love with his pint-sized birthday buddy on the other side of the world.
Jacinda Ardern gave birth to Neve while in office, the first Prime Minister to do so in New Zealand history.
She took to Instagram with a relatable parenting moment on the eve of the celebrations which fans loved.
Safe to say baby Neve has gotten the royal treatment for her first birthday bash.
