    1. Hover just over your chair in a squat position for 15 seconds every hour. 2. Keep a small water glass (rather than a large water bottle) on your desk; you’ll have to refill it more often. 3. Buy a plant for your office; watering it will make you more active. 4. Set your computer alarm to ring on the hour; stand up for one to five minutes every time it sounds. 5. Take your lunch outside or to another location in the office building, instead of eating at your desk. 6. Schedule meetings to take place in far-off conference rooms. 7. Take your brainstorming session for a walk. 8. Dust your office once a week. 9. Walk around the block both midmorning and midafternoon. 10. Stand while you open your mail. 11. Wear comfortable shoes (or keep flats at work), so you walk more.
