Rahmath Meeragani : If you want advise from a 72 year old type 2 diabetic I will tell you that you will NEVER lose weight on a diet , and 80% of advise Doctors give you is pure #$%$ ( there is big money in diabetes believe me and it has nothing to do with your welfare , more to do with your pocket ) after many years of diets and advise from dieticians I decided to go it alone , it was very simple , take SUGAR out of your diet , Bread and most fats , DO not eat between meals and cut the size of your meals down ( everything in moderation) with this simple eating regime I have take 13 Kilo's of over 18 month "PAINLESSLY" against ALL advise I have been given by so called Professionals. A BIT OF EXERCISE WILL HELP ENORMOUSLY . GET INTO IT.

Rahmath. Ignore this rubbish. Talk to your doctor. Good luck, most of my family had type 2 diabetes.

@Rahmath. There is no secret, lots of aerobic exercises and also weight exercises, daily, and reduce food intake but with more frequent smaller size meals. I used to have lots of excuse too, but I have lost about 11 kg brisk walking/jogging between 3.5-5km daily, combined with 20 minutes of weight routines, and health eating. The key to my regime is the weight routines. Hope that help and best wishes.
