The truth about conceiving

The truth about conceiving

Here are three of the most common ones and why you can feel confident ditching them:

Myth #1: You must orgasm to conceive
While having an orgasm is always a bonus, it’s not actually a must. It does help the sperm travel toward your fallopian tubes faster by contracting the uterus, but if this doesn’t happen, it doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t conceive.

Myth #2: The ‘Man on top’ position is the only way to conceive
In truth, the actual position you do it in doesn’t have great impact, just as long as there’s deep penetration and ejaculation. It’s probably best to try a variety of positions to keep the baby-making business fun and not a chore!

Myth #3: Raise your legs after sex

Logic would say this will work, but in fact sperm are designed to travel in the right direction following ejaculation, regardless of what position you’re in. So, you can safely quit those post-sex handstands!
