The Middleton siblings came together for the Princess of Wales' annual Christmas Carol Service last night. Pippa and James Middleton arrived at London’s Westminster Abbey shortly after William and Kate, to attend the much-awaited 'Together At Christmas' service, which she hosts every year.

For the occasion, Pippa opted for classic elegance in a black bouclé coat-dress from Karen Millen. The inky-black style had a slight shimmer, and she added to the festive aesthetic with red accessories, including suede pumps and a velvet clutch bag. Additional sparkle came courtesy of flower-shaped diamond earrings.

James Middleton, meanwhile, chose to co-ordinate with Prince William and sons Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, 6, in a blue suit, white shirt, and burgundy tie. He layered a ribbed peacoat adorned with gold buttons over his suit, and his shirt had a subtle pinstripe pattern. James too finished his look with black shoes, though his were loafers, which he wore with burgundy socks.

In a rare public outing as a couple, James attended the royal Christmas event with his wife, Alizee Thevenet. She looked fit for the season in jewel tones: a loose velvet suit in a deep royal blue, and glossy cherry-red block heels with ankle straps. Under her blazer, she wore a romantic white blouse with a dramatic oversized bow.

“This year’s service provides a moment to reflect upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives,” Kensington Palace said in a statement. “The service will shine a light on individuals from all over the UK who have shown love, kindness and empathy towards others in their communities.”
