Last night (January 5), Hollywood’s starriest names descended upon Beverley Hills for the Golden Globe Awards 2020.

But no red carpet ensemble, moving speech or unexpected win could distract some viewers’ eyes away from Pierce Brosnan’s newly-instated goatee.

Yes, the James Bond star debuted the well-quaffed facial hair at the star-studded ceremony and his name was soon trending on Twitter.

Despite Brosnan’s Hollywood career slowing down in recent years, viewers shared some unsolicited ideas on several potential roles he could pursue courtesy of his new moustache.

First up: Colonel Sanders.

“Pierce Brosnan really nailing his role as Colonel Sanders in the KFC mogul's biopic,” one semi-joked on the platform.

Another quipped: “Appearing soon in the film ‘Dine Another Day’.”

“Kentucky Fried Bond,” a third captioned a video of the actor on Twitter.

If he is unsuccessful in the audition process then there’s also talk of a forthcoming role as a villain in the next ‘Paddington’ or James Bond movie.

“Pierce Brosnan proves that you either die James Bond or live long enough to look like a Bond villain,” one tweeted.

Another joked, “This is a petition for Pierce Brosnan to be the next ‘Paddington’ villain.”

We don’t know about you but we’ll be keeping an eye out for the 60-year-old actor’s next big screen move.
