The G20 logo has been put up in many locations in Delhi and people are flocking to take selfies
India is poised to host the prestigious G20 summit in the national capital this weekend.
In a few hours, world leaders and delegates will converge in Delhi for the summit scheduled for 9 and 10 September.
This is the first time the country will be hosting such a high-profile event and the authorities have pulled out all the stops when it comes to the preparations.
Many parts of the city have undergone a beautification drive - but several homes of poor people have also been demolished near the venue of the summit.
The summit will be held at a convention-cum-exhibition centre that can seat about 7,000 people at a time

A stone-carved lion statue has also been installed near the airport
But the beautification drive has also meant misery for some. Here, a family load their belongings in a vehicle after their home near the summit venue was demolished by the authorities.
Temporary cloth walls have been erected in front of slums to hide them from view
In many parts of the city, roads have been swept clean
Delhi's parks and gardens have received a facelift, their foliage freshly pruned
Dilli Haat, a popular market in the capital, has been revamped for the summit
Life-size cut-outs of grey langur monkeys - which scare smaller monkeys - have been put up at various places. Delhi has a huge monkey population and authorities hope these steps will keep the animals from disrupting the summit.

Posters prominently display India's official G20 logo and photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi
According to officials, more than 40,000 policemen will guard the capital during the summit
Flags of participating nations have been put up on the heavily guarded roads near the venue

A man who took shocking footage of a dog walker being attacked by a bull mastiff today (Weds) claimed he had complained to police about the animal 'loads of times'. Meeran Hassan's CCTV camera picked up the sickening attack in Sheffield, South Yorks., on Tuesday afternoon. The video shows a man, in a blue fleece and dark trousers, trying to protect his own small black dog as a larger, tan-coloured canine appears to snap at his arm. As he moves around and attempts to fend off the rampaging beast while holding his own dog aloft, the bull-mastiff locks its jaws around his left forearm. The man loses his balance and falls into the street during the struggle before a red BMW car pulls up to try and scare the attacking dog off. Witnesses say the victim, who was 'covered in blood' and 'looked like he'd been stabbed' made a dash to a nearby GP surgery before going to hospital. The attacking dog is believed to live next to a house which shares a car park with a nearby nursery. It is thought the dog jumped over a wall before pouncing on the dog walker. South Yorkshire Police said a 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Meeran, 40, who captured the attack on his security camera, said he had just got home from work when he saw the incident unfold. He said: "I've complained about the dog loads of times to the police but they've never done anything about it. "It just non-stop barks because they leave it outside all the time. "I think the owner is a taxi driver who only comes at certain times of the day to let it out and feed it. But it is left outside for the majority of the time. "It started barking a couple of months ago - when the family moved in but I think it's quite an old dog. "It seems hungry - like nobody feeds it. I've never actually seen the dog until today - it's scary." Armed cops were amongst the responders to the incident, which happened just after 5.40pm on Tuesday in Handsworth Road in Sheffield, South Yorks. The victim, whose chest and arm were cuts in the mauling, went into a nearby GP surgery in the street where he was bandaged up before going to hospital. Police say his injuries are 'serious', but are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening. The dog was later trapped by police officers who removed from the area. Meeran added: "The dog jumped over a wall, he lives next to the house which shares a car park with the nursery. "The man then tried to get the dog off him - and a man in another car tried hitting the dog. "He was covered in blood and one of my neighbours tried hitting the dog with my blue bin at one point. "He then ran into the doctors surgery with his dog, where they bandaged up his stomach." A woman who lives nearby said she saw the aftermath of the incident and that the man, who has not been identified, 'looked like he'd been stabbed'. She said: "I looked out of my window and saw a man covered in blood, looking like he'd been stabbed. "It was very scary because you want to protect your children. There's a school nearby, it could have been a child." A police spokesman said: "A 53-year-old man from Sheffield has now been arrested on suspicion of having a dangerous dog out of control and remains in police custody at this time as enquiries continue. "We are still looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or car dash cam footage which may have captured the incident."
